Nelly Mubashi

Nelly has over 20 years of experience in wealth management, Investment management, corporate retirement plans, financial services, and business management. Before co-founding NWAM, LLC in the summer of 2008, Nelly was a Financial Advisor at UBS Financial Services and prior to that a Financial Advisor at Piper Jaffray & Co.

As CEO, Nelly directs the firm’s overall strategic plan, business growth and oversees all business units. The goal of the firm is to bring together like-minded individuals/firms from across the US and provide a platform where advisors and their clients can take advantage of economies of scale, technology, pricing power and premium service.

Nelly is committed to retaining and recruiting great talent in the industry. Nelly is proud to have a 45% women/minority representation at the firm. The firm’s goals for the years to come are to continue to grow and attract talented advisors and staff. The aspect that Nelly enjoys most about her job is the team of people she gets to work with.

Nelly is also committed to helping her community. Nelly is on the board of directors for Plymouth Housing, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing permanent supportive housing to the homeless population in the area. Nelly is also chapter Co-Head for the Pacific Northwest Women in ETFs association. Nelly was also a founding member of the 55ip Innovators Council which functioned as an advisory board to 55ip a Fintech company.
